Running on Holiday

Let me tell you about my holiday running.
When I saw people doing exercises during the holidays I thought ah they are crazy. Why do you do any exercises while you are on holiday? If you ask me a couple of years back what was in my suitcase it was only clothes, my bikinis and that's it.
When I started running I started packing my running kit. Sometimes I barely used it because I didn't know the town or area where to run or I wasn't sure I could find the route back to the hotel.
I remember we went to Crete in 2018 and I took my running kit with me and I went out for a run a couple of times but because the town had hundreds of stray cats then I ended up feeding and pampering them ( ha ha it is typical me).
Then the pandemic happened so it was no holiday at all for almost two years. A lot happened in two years but one of the most important is that I started to run again regularly, every other day to ease my period pain and to follow one of my dream-run The London Marathon.
Pandemic eased so we were able to travel and I am writing this post in Hungary. Due to global warming Hungarian Summers have changed a lot. We arrived at 35 degrees so it was a shock to the system at first, then slowly you got used to it. I go out for a run just like back home in England: every other day. early morning of course as you know I am a weird member of the 5 am Club. This is not the main issue. The humidity kills me as after a kilometre I sweat out all the toxins from my body but I love it. I even managed to get out and do my training before my sister's wedding. So I will keep it up while we are here and enjoy some running on my holiday.
Ps: Do you have a cheeky fiver or tenner please visit this link and you can see my training as it shows you my Strava.
